The holiday season is a time of indulgence, joy, and a whirlwind of culinary delights. At Seed + Oat, we aim to add a healthier touch to the festivities while nurturing your hormonal balance through the practice of Seed Cycling. Join us on this holiday journey as we infuse classic Christmas recipes with the nourishing power of Seed + Oat.
What is Seed Cycling?
Seed Cycling is an ancient practice that harmonizes hormonal fluctuations throughout the menstrual cycle. By incorporating specific seeds during different phases, it aims to regulate estrogen and progesterone levels. This practice has shown promising results in alleviating menstrual irregularities, PMS, Peri Menopause symptoms and promoting overall hormonal health.
For those new to Seed Cycling, it's all about understanding the menstrual cycle's two distinct phases – the follicular/new moon and luteal/full moon phases. During each phase, different seeds such as flax, pumpkin, sesame, and sunflower seeds are consumed to support hormone balance.
Seed + Oat was born from a passion for holistic health and the belief in the power of natural, nourishing foods. This collaboration between two wellness-focused brands, both helmed by women passionate about health, aims to create innovative and delicious ways to incorporate Seed Cycling into everyday life. By joining forces, we endeavor to empower individuals to take charge of their hormonal health while enjoying delectable recipes.
