Seed + Oat Tasty Tarts Recipe

Tart option 1: Phase 1 Seed Cycle

Ingredients:

Method:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 170 degrees fan-forced. Grease or line a muffin tray. Step 2: In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together and divide the mixture evenly between your muffin tray cups. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the oven and allow them to cool before adding your filling of choice!

Tart option 2: Phase 2 Seed Cycle

Method:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 170 degrees fan-forced. Grease or line a muffin tray. Step 2: In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together and divide the mixture evenly between your muffin tray cups. You may need to add more coconut oil if you find the ingredients a little crumbly. This can sometimes be due to the nut butter, as different brands have varying consistencies. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the oven and allow them to cool before adding your filling of choice!

Tart Fillings!

Option 1 - Simple & Fresh!

Ingredients:

  • Coconut yogurt
  • Fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, banana, passionfruit, mango, kiwi, apple...)
  • Sprinkle with shredded coconut, crushed nuts, or a drizzle of melted chocolate!

Option 2 - Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients:

  • 2 Large Avocados
  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted. Soak dates in boiling water for 10 minutes prior.
  • 2 frozen Bananas
  • 3 tablespoons Cacao Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh Mint leaves, chopped

Method:

Step 1: Add all your ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. Step 2: Divide the mixture evenly between 6 tart cases and sprinkle with fresh mint leaves, nuts, or fruit. Store your delicious creations in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Alternatively, you can make the tart cases in advance and store them in the freezer for future snacking delights. Happy Cooking!
