Full Moon – October 6, 2025 Seed Cycling & Lunar Living Guide

Live in Flow by Tuning Into the Natural Rhythm That’s Always Been Within You

Each week at The Seed Cycle, we share gentle guidance to inspire your cyclical living and seed-cycling journey.

Whether you’re just beginning your menstrual cycle, navigating motherhood, perimenopause, or beyond, this space helps you reconnect with your natural rhythm.

When we understand our bodies, we can support our hormones naturally and live in flow with the cycles around us.

Why the Moon Matters

The moon and your hormones share a natural rhythm both cycles last roughly 28 days.
As the moon waxes and wanes, it mirrors the hormonal flow within your body:

Waxing Moon → Estrogen rises

Full Moon → Ovulation peaks

Waning Moon → Progesterone nourishes

Seed Cycling with Your Cycle or the Moon

If your menstrual cycle is regular, seed cycle with your own rhythm:

The Seed Cycle Phase 1: Flax + Pumpkin Seeds – Days 1-14 (from your period to ovulation)

The Seed Cycle Phase 2: Sesame + Sunflower Seeds – Days 15-28 (after ovulation)

Even when following your body’s rhythm, you’re still connected to the moon you can layer her wisdom alongside your own.

If your cycle is irregular, missing, or shifting during pregnancy, postpartum, while on birth control, in perimenopause, or post-menopause you can use the lunar calendar as your guide.
The moon provides a steady rhythm when your own is unpredictable.

White Moon & Red Moon Cycles

Sometimes your body’s rhythm naturally syncs with the moon’s:

White Moon Cycle: Bleeding with the New Moon + Ovulating at the Full Moon linked with creativity and outward expression.

Red Moon Cycle: Bleeding with the Full Moon + Ovulating at the New Moon connected to intuition and inner work.

Both are equally powerful expressions of feminine energy.

Lunar Insight – The Full Moon

The Full Moon is a time of expansion and illumination the brightest point in the lunar cycle.

Just as the moon shines fully, this phase mirrors ovulation, the peak of your menstrual cycle.

You might feel more social, confident, and expressive.

It’s a beautiful moment to connect with others, share ideas, and celebrate how far you’ve come since the New Moon two weeks ago.

Seed Cycling Focus – Phase 2

This week marks Phase 2 of seed cycling, supporting your body after ovulation as it shifts from estrogen’s high point toward progesterone production.

If your cycle isn’t regular or if you’re pregnant, postpartum, on birth control, perimenopausal, or post-menopausal simply follow the Full Moon to guide your rhythm.
The moon’s steady phases help your body find balance even when your own cycle changes.

Take Phase 2 Seeds (sunflower + sesame) daily to nourish this hormonal transition.
These nutrient-dense seeds provide essential fatty acids, zinc, selenium, and vitamin E all vital for healthy progesterone levels and hormone harmony.

Easy ways to include them:

- Sprinkle on smoothies or porridge

- Add to salads or roasted veggies

- Make up a batch of The Seed Cycle Biscuit Mix for Phase 2 support

Full Moon Ritual – Release & Renew

Light a candle and take a few deep breaths.

Write down one thing you’re ready to release a habit, thought, or energy that no longer serves you.

Tear up or safely burn the paper, imagining that old energy leaving your body and life.

This simple act helps you clear space for new intentions and deeper balance in the next cycle.

Cycle Syncing Tip

During ovulation which aligns energetically with the Full Moon  your hormones support higher energy, confidence, and connection.

It’s the perfect time for group activities, creative projects, and social moments.

Nourish your body with light, colourful meals: fresh salads, roasted vegetables, and seasonal fruit.

These foods help keep you vibrant and balanced as your body moves through its natural rhythm.
