October 6th - The Full Moon
🌙 Lunar Insight
The Full Moon is a time of expansion and illumination — the brightest point in the lunar cycle. Just as the moon shines fully, this phase mirrors ovulation, the peak of your menstrual cycle.
You might feel more social, confident, and expressive. It’s a beautiful time to connect with others, share ideas, and celebrate how far you’ve come this month.
🌻 Seed Cycling Phase 2
This week begins Phase 2 of seed cycling, supporting your body after ovulation as it shifts from estrogen’s high point toward progesterone production.
If your cycle isn’t regular or if you’re pregnant, postpartum, missing periods, on birth control, perimenopausal, or post-menopausal you can follow the lunar calendar instead. The moon provides a steady rhythm to align with when your body’s own cycle feels unpredictable.
Take Seed Cycling Phase 2 Products daily to help nourish this hormonal transition. These seeds are rich in essential fatty acids and minerals that support healthy progesterone levels and overall balance.
Easy ways to include them:
- Sprinkle on smoothies or porridge
- Add to salads or roasted veggies
- Make up a batch of The Seed Cycle Biscuit Mix for Phase 2
💫 Ritual to Try
Light a candle and take a few deep breaths.
Write down one thing you’re ready to release a habit, thought, or energy that no longer serves you.
When you’re ready, tear up or safely burn the paper, imagining that old energy leaving your body and life.
This simple act helps you clear space for new intentions and balance in the next cycle.
🌸 Cycle Syncing Tip
During ovulation which aligns energetically with the Full Moon your hormones support higher energy, confidence, and connection. It’s the perfect time for group activities, creative projects, or spending time with loved ones.
Nourish your body with light, colorful meals such as salads, roasted veggies, and fresh fruit. These foods help keep you feeling vibrant and balanced as your body moves through its natural rhythm.
💛 Reflect & Connect
Pause under tonight’s Full Moon and ask yourself:
What am I proud of this cycle?
What am I ready to release?
Each reflection brings you closer to understanding your body’s natural rhythm and that’s where real balance begins.
With you every cycle,
Mel and The Seed Cycle Team

🌕 Why the Moon Matters
The moon and your hormones share a natural rhythm both cycles last roughly 28 days. As the moon waxes and wanes, it mirrors the hormonal flow within your body: estrogen rises in the first half (like the waxing moon), ovulation peaks at the Full Moon, and progesterone nourishes you in the second half (like the waning moon).
If your menstrual cycle is regular, you can seed cycle according to your own rhythm — starting Phase 1 (flax + pumpkin seeds) on day 1 of your period and moving to Phase 2 (sesame + sunflower) after ovulation. You can still stay connected to the moon by noticing where she is in her cycle, layering her wisdom with your own.
Sometimes, your body’s rhythm will naturally align with the moon’s:
White Moon Cycle: When you bleed with the New Moon and ovulate around the Full Moon. This pattern is traditionally linked with fertility, creativity, and outward expression.
Red Moon Cycle: When you bleed with the Full Moon and ovulate around the New Moon. This rhythm is often connected to inner work, intuition, and nurturing others.
Both are equally powerful they simply reflect different expressions of feminine energy.
If your cycle is irregular, missing, or you’re in a life phase such as pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, or post-menopause, you can follow the lunar calendar as your guide. Seed cycling with the moon offers a steady rhythm to stay connected to your body’s wisdom, even when your bleed is absent or changing.
