Your daily Seed Cycle + Gut Fibre, disguised as a chocolatey little treat.
If you’ve been looking for an easy way to make your daily Seed Cycle and Gut Fibre part of your routine, these little freezer bites are it.
They’re chewy and naturally sweet from Medjool dates, creamy from nut butter, finished with a little dark chocolate and crunchy pistachios but underneath all that deliciousness, you’re getting a purposeful dose of fibre and seeds.
And the best part? Two bites give you your daily serving of Seed Cycle + Gut Fibre.
Why we love fibre for more than just digestion
When most people think about fibre, they think about constipation. And while getting enough fibre is certainly important for keeping things moving, its role in the body goes well beyond regularity.
Fibre is an important part of a healthy diet and plays a role in supporting your gut microbiome. Certain types of fibre are fermented by the bacteria in your gut, helping to nourish the diverse community of microbes living there.
And your gut is connected to so much more than digestion. Your gut microbiome interacts with your metabolism, immune system and the way your body processes and eliminates compounds such as hormones.
That’s why we’re big believers in making fibre something you think about every single day, not just something you reach for when you're constipated.
Why add Gut Fibre to your Seed Cycle?
Your daily Seed Cycle provides ground seeds traditionally used as part of a food-first approach to supporting women's hormonal health.
Our Gut Fibre combines complementary sources of fibre, making it an easy way to increase your daily fibre intake and support a healthy gut environment.
Combining the two makes this recipe a simple way to turn your daily wellness routine into something you actually look forward to.
And because each serving is built into two little bites, you don't need to remember whether you've had your Seed Cycle or Gut Fibre that day.
Two bites = your daily serving
Each two-bite serving contains:
1 scoop Seed Cycle
1 tbsp Gut Fibre
1 tbsp nut butter
Plus dates, dark chocolate and pistachios for a little something extra.
How to make Chocolate Fibre Date Bites
Ingredients
Makes 3 servings
- 6 large Medjool dates, pitted (or double if the dates are smaller)
- 3- 4 tbsp cashew or almond butter
- 3 tbsp Seed Cycle Gut Fibre
- 3 scoops Seed Cycle
- 40–50g dark chocolate, melted
- 2 tbsp crushed pistachios
- Optional: flaky sea salt
Method
1. Make your date rounds
Place each pitted date onto baking paper. Use the bottom of a glass to press each date flat into a small circle. Gently shape the edges with your fingers if needed.
2. Make the fibre filling
Mix the nut butter, Gut Fibre and Seed Cycle together in a bowl until you have a thick, creamy mixture.
3. Assemble
Divide the mixture between the 12 date rounds and spread over the top.
You can leave them as individual rounds or pair two together to create your daily two-bite serving.
4. Add the chocolate
Drizzle a small amount of melted dark chocolate over each bite. You don't need to coat them completely — just enough chocolate to give you that delicious chocolate finish.
Sprinkle with crushed pistachios and a little flaky sea salt.
5. Freeze
Place in the freezer for 1–2 hours, or until firm.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer and grab two bites each day.
A better way to take your daily fibre
We love recipes like this because wellness doesn't have to mean adding another boring task to your day.
Instead of stirring fibre into a glass of water and trying to remember your daily seeds, you've got a little chocolatey treat waiting for you in the freezer.
Food-first, delicious and part of your daily ritual.
Tip: If you're increasing your fibre intake, remember to increase your water intake too. Your body needs adequate fluid alongside fibre to help it move through your digestive system comfortably.
